went to LOOF with dee, clarence and liying. haven seen liying for a long time, she looks different in a great way. i love clarence's hip specs. anyways loof is an alright chill out place but the crowd there are kinda older. however i do like their concept. should check it out for yrself.

i've always loved to paint. my room has been pretty much revamped. i would describe it as a kinda 'pop art 1980s haven'. i love painting abstract art, its free and easy. picasso would be my inspiration for my next painting. painting is a form of my relaxation, it gives me a freedom of expression. i've gotta thank miss k who was my art teacher in secondary school. she really taught me a lot.

what are your thoughts?

strangely i thought about placing pics of stylish people in singapore on my blog. i think it would be cool to have a fashion blog that showcases the street fashion here. its been done for Milan, NYC and Stockholm, the few most stylish countries in the world.

so why not Singapore?!

i just gotta have the courage to go up ppl and ask if they could pose for the camera. haha.

let me know yr thoughts about this? so i would know whether i should carry this out. tag me.

shaun's style tip one

ive never seen much blogs giving out style tips especially for guys. so ill be one of those few to do it. if u dun wanna take my advice its alright with me. im just doing this for those who wants to try different styles and be different!

how to prep it up for guys?

the preppy look is pretty much very in for these few seasons. try shorts with checked or lines, this instantly gives u a preppy look. but it just how far u wanna take it to. u could roll or cuff yr shorts (short shorts are uber stylish). wear a belt, be it a skinny or thicker. slipping on a pair of loafers are good too. pedro loafers are great and pretty affordable. u could wear a long sleeve shirt (roll up the sleeves) over a t shirt. try out accessorizing like wearing a funky necklace (lego necklaces are cool). u could try folding up yr skinny jeans to slightly above yr ankle, preferably for black or other darker shades of skinny jeans and taller ppl. the really in thing now is to fold up the sleeves of yr cardigan wear a cool t shirt inside, button up 1 or 2 buttons and u got a trend. dun always stick to safe colours. fashion never plays safe. be wild go for bright colours. on sunny days, wear a coloured aviators to pump up this style. the pics below illustrates the prep look.

great singapore sales outing

went out with ty today to check out the sales. i bet i was the most difficult customer that gap centrepoint had to handle! i bought a pair of shorts last week and i called up gap vivo today to check about size availability and so happens that now there is a 30% off for the shorts that i bought (damn rite?) so i told the guy on the phone whether i could change the shorts i bought at the full price for the same shorts at the discounted price plus get another shorts to cover up the remaining amt already spent and he said ok. however i went down to centrepoint instead to get it done and i was piss to hear that it was not allowed so i told them off and said to check with the vivo guy and sam the lady i spoke to did just that and found out that the guy i spoke to was the supervisor at vivo gap and said the exchange of shorts is a personal agreement with him. i was stunned for a moment and i told ty that hes confirm gay! but oh well i benefited from it in the end all thanx to sam! in the end she did the exchange for me! so now i got 2 checked shorts woots! i bought black suspenders too. even though it kinda is out of style on the streets but ill bring it back! i kinda like it cos it completes a preppy look which im so into these days. other than the suspenders got a few t shirts from topman white and dark grey v neck, and cobalt blue and light blue crew neck. i prefer plain t shirts to those with designs on it, thus just needa accessorize or wear shorts that has patterns.

my dad cooks really well. i love his take on fried clam noodles, its really good i bet he could sell it and have a long queue of customers! disadvantage? he takes too long to cook!!! haha no wonder there would be a long queue of customers! ill try to remember to take a pic of it when he cooks it next.
